3 Ways to Change Your Life

Are you at a point where you are tired of being tired of how things are shaping up in your life?  Maybe you tried to be a positive person before and set out to start something new or completely change your life but roadblocks and setbacks always showed up.  The good news is, we have the power to change our lives all of the time and whenever necessary.  Roadblocks and setbacks are, unfortunately, a part of life but they do not have to take over your life and keep you stuck.  I want to share 3 ways that you can begin to change your life starting today.

  1. Decide on what you want.

Set aside some time alone and begin to think about what you want to see a change in your life (career, relationships, business, health).  Write your desires down and get in touch with the feeling that you will have if your desires come true today.

  1. Get in tune with YOU.

Do you know what excites you? Have you given thought to what talents you possess?  What do you like to do?  Friend, take the time to get to know you.  And, in this exercise, this has nothing to do with how others view you.

Make a list of things that excite you, your pet peeves, your talents, and your values.  Keep this list near you so you can see just how amazing you are.  Once you see yourself on paper, start adding things to your schedule that fit who you truly are.  Make that commitment to yourself to do something that you enjoy whether you do it with someone else or just by yourself.

  1. Focus on healthy habits.

In order for change to happen, change has to happen.  If you are currently unhappy with your life or specific parts of your life, then you will have to do something different.  Your daily routine will need to be modified and new habits will be required.  Assess what you currently do on a regular basis without thinking about it.  Do your current routine and habits support your ideal self and ideal life?  What do you need to shift in your day-to-day happenings to improve your life?  When you identify the areas you want to change, the answers to what new habits to adopt will be revealed to you.
