Affirmations are positive statements that are excellent reminders of what you want to manifest in your life. When you are on a journey to improve any area of your life, it is good to have tools with you to keep your mind on the life that you are creating.
I have been using affirmations for many years and revising them as I update my yearly goals. By aligning my affirmations and goals, I know that my thoughts are focused on the same things that I want to see in my life. When I feel down or frustrated, I turn to my affirmations to keep my self-talk positive.
WHERE DO YOU GET AFFIRMATIONS?
I create my affirmations based on my goals and how I want to feel. These statements are in present tense and I read them out loud. I keep them in my daily planner and also on my iPhone. In recent years, I record myself saying them using the voice memo app on my phone so that I can hear my voice speaking these positive words to me. This is really great when I’m in my car or office or when I need a mid-day pickup.
You can be as creative or simple as you like when you find a safe place for your affirmations. Remember these are your personal statements and you should feel great when you see and hear them.
